KEITH J HALEY BA Hons MA

Keith Haley, Director of Blooplight VFX, is an Emmy-nominated VFX artist, Animator and CAA Commercial Drone Pilot based in London with a global client base. 

 

With more than 15 years of experience across the full CG VFX pipeline in Film, Television & Sports – as both artist and supervisor – he has worked with the industry’s leading studios including Adam & Eve , Greyworks, DDb, Hogarth & Saatchi & Saatchi.  His diverse client base includes award-winning work at media giants Warner Bros. Discovery and Disney, as well as immersive art installations for Nike and the UK Government and on-premise graphics work at the 2012 Olympics, 2011 Asian Summer & Winter Games (Guangzhou & Kazakhstan), and the 2010 Fifa World Cup in South Africa.

 

Keith holds a Masters Degree in Installation Art & Computer Science from University of Salford and Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Design, from University of Wales.  In his spare time, Keith volunteers his time to teach Kayaking and was recognised as a local hero by the Northwich Police, Fire & Rescue Department for his service to the community – where he also enjoys being a hero to his wife and three daughters.

My visual effects work on Discovery Channel's flagship series hosted by Professor Stephen Hawking, received an Emmy nomination.

Full CG was required for the numerous Earth scenes which included visuals of deforistation, ice cap melts and weather systems.

Working across all seasons of Discovery's 'I shouldn't be Alive' series, many visual effects were required. Scenes include plane crashes, bear attacks and ocean situations.
